Every once in a while I have the time (and urge!) to make something from scratch. Whether it be as difficult as a homemade dumpling dough, to as simple as short crust pastry.
Yes, making dough from scratch is always tedious and tiring. But there’s nothing quite like a homemade fettucine Bolagnese on that cold winter’s night; where the air outside is icy and the weather is grim. But it’s warm inside and those heavy based saucepans are filled to the brim!
Next time you feel that urge to go just a little bit further, why not make homemade pasta. It’s silky and thin, plus it’s covered in a delicious homemade sauce of your choice. It really does taste like home.
