Homemade Granola

There are a lot of delicious breakfasts. Bacon and eggs, cereal, oats or even granola. You could frantically skim through the health food aisle of the supermarket, but this is the real deal; plus it’s healthy, you know what’s going in it, it’s tastes great and it’s proven to give you balanced energy.

Full of nuts, seeds, dried fruit and energy boosters, it’s hard to go past this recipe. It makes about 1 and a half large containers and keeps for about 2 months in an airtight container in the fridge. Perfect for breakfast mixed with yoghurt and fruit, sprinkled on top of porridge or even a healthy snack to tie you over. There’s no need to add refined sugars such as brown sugar because it is baked with honey and maple syrup. The toasted flavour combined with crunch is very tasty. The goji berries add sweetness and a pop of colour as well.

This tops all the granola brands in the supermarket. It is both healthy and yummy, it’s a win-win! Nothing else to say but awesome, absolutely awesome.
